Description: Leo is a homebred rising 5 year old that has been slowly produced. He’s a dark bay gelding, compact build approximately 16hh! He is Irish Sports Horse (Cruising lines) x Irish Draught. Leo is a dream to handle & is very well behaved for his age with a chilled out personality. He enjoys being pampered & brushed, is well behaved for his feet being trimmed. He’s a real gentleman and will turn his hoof to anything making him a great all rounder/amateur/riding club horse. He was a super star to break in and really enjoys his ridden work. His flatwork is becoming more established as his training is progressing but still needs a little bit of work to stay consistent in the contact. He’s jumped around a full course of showjumps proving to have a very bold & brave attitude and he has also trained over some arena eventing xc fences where nothing fazed him. He has competed in a couple of unaffiliated showjumping shows where he took everything in his stride like he had been doing the job for years! He’s a forward going ride and with his age is still green in terms of competition experience but always tries his best to please! Leo has been out hacking and has proven to be bold out taking the lead, hacking both alone and in company. I’m gutted to be selling him but seriously need to downsize on the number of horses I have as I just have too many! Leo has got some small sarcoids around his sheath area that do not bother him in the slightest. We are currently treating them herbally and they are reducing in size but if this puts you off please don’t contact me!
