- The post I’ve been putting off for the last year… our special boy is looking for a new home to be loved and have fun 💔
13.3hh Cob, 8 years old
Jonny came to us 3 years ago for my then-8-year-old daughter, straight out of riding school. At just 5 himself, he taught her to jump and now takes her confidently round 60/70cm courses.
He is super safe, fun, and more “whoa” than “go.” Loves hacking—happy in front or behind, alone or in company—never spooky and great in traffic. All my daughter’s friends ride him and I trust him completely to look after his jockey.
He’s done a bit of everything and brought home lots of rosettes: XC (ditches, steps, water), show jumping, arena eventing, hunting, dressage, PC rallies, and three Pony Club stay-away camps.
Jonny is schooled weekly by my daughter’s instructor and his flatwork has come on so much. Dressage isn’t my daughter’s passion, but he has the ability to do a lovely test.
He would make a brilliant 1st / 1.5 pony, hunting pony, mother-daughter share, or even suit a small adult.
This is a very sad sale as my daughter is ready to step up. The right home is essential, and we’d love to stay in touch and follow his journey—he has given us so much.
Price: Just above mid-4s. Comes with wardrobe and bridle. Saddle available by separate negotiation.
