Description: OAKLEY Registered Connemara (green book) 2019 grey gelding, standing at a full-up 15.2hh. Oakley was previously in our yard for sale and returns only due to his owner’s change in circumstances. This lovely lad has the kindest nature and a genuine desire to please. He’s mannerly, quiet on the ground, and adores human company — the type you can groom for hours. Well-handled and responsive, he’s a pleasure to do in every way and a favourite around the yard. On the flat, Oakley offers three comfortable, correct paces and works nicely in a snaffle. His flatwork is established enough that you could take him out to a dressage test tomorrow. He’s straightforward, willing, and an easy, enjoyable ride. He’s attended Pony Club, PC camp, and riding club activities with a junior rider, showing his versatility and good attitude in every setting. Over fences, Oakley is bold and careful — happy to jump coloured fillers, rustic fences, or cross-country obstacles. He’s confidently schooling up to 90cm, takes you to a fence without getting strong or silly, and always gives you a great feeling. His technique over ditches is excellent, making him an ideal confidence giver for someone who enjoys jumping. Out hacking, Oakley is reliable alone or in company and unfazed by any traffic, including the biggest vehicles. He’s sensible, safe, and loves his work — a genuine allrounder ready to give someone a lot of fun. Open to any vet or trainer. £9,950.
