Description: Castle Boris 17.1 Iron Grey 6yr old Gelding IDxWB He is sired by ID Huntingfield rebel and his dam lines include Ricardo z & Cavalier Royale. Boris is with us on sales livery, he has been in the same home since a yearling. It is a very difficult sale as he has sadly grown too big for his petite lady owner. Boris has been started correctly, not rushed and allowed time to mature due to his size. He has attended a fun ride where he was mannerly and has completed some prelim online dressage tests- always scoring high 60’s. He has a lovely rhythmical canter and works nicely on the flat. He has started some lateral work, he proves willing and is quick to learn. Since arriving with us we have started his jumping education this is where he comes into his own he is bold and brave and there is lots to like. He has been xc schooling this week, his confidence grew with each fence. With a committed rider I’m not sure that there’s much that he wouldn’t take on for you. Sj there’s so much potential there, his full brother was 3rd in HOYS working hunter 2025. Since arriving with us Boris has hacked out on busy main roads and has been solid he’s also ridden in open spaces and proven to be sensible We feel he could suit a number of jobs he’s very versatile and a talented all rounder. We’ve thrown everything at him to test him he’s a lovely sort. Good to clip, bath lead etc He is not suitable for a novice there’s too much about him, he’s not naughty or nasty but he has a nice amount of blood in him and he loves to work. Videos available The only negative about him is a treated sarcoid high inside his hind leg. It causes him no problems and he is otherwise clean and correct.
