- Description
- 16.1hh gelding, rising 7. Breeding not recorded but all known Cloverhill lines. Dam Elle Clover and sire Oldlands Vivaldi — happy to discuss breeding further.
Fully vaccinated, good with the farrier and travels well in a 3.5-ton lorry.
He hacks mostly off road in non-traffic areas. He can be a little spooky until he knows the area (video of hacking available).
He needs a confident, quiet rider as he can be sensitive, so he is not suitable for a novice. He is currently being ridden by a 60-year-old lady and has had the winter off.
He is green on the flat, but once he gets going he should settle into his work. He needs someone who will give him the time and attention he deserves.
He has attended some training clinics, shows, and done grids and pole work, and with the right rider he has all the ability to jump and would likely excel in this discipline.
He is not suitable for a novice home as he needs a capable handler and can occasionally be quirky on the ground. That said, he is full of character and enjoys a bit of interaction — he loves to nibble at you.
He has a splint on the near fore, which is purely cosmetic and does not affect him. This is reflected in the price.
£3,500. Open to any inspections and trials. Tack negotiable.
