Description: Rising 5-year-old smart, flashy mare with a quality sport-horse pedigree. A very exciting young horse for a confident rider looking to produce their own future star. Cally was backed in December 2024 and then sent away for two weeks of professional schooling. Since returning, she has spent the summer hacking, schooling, lightly jumping, attending arena hires, and has completed one training show. She hacks confidently, including over a busy motorway bridge and past heavy traffic such as diggers, tractors, and lorries, remaining unfazed. She is kept on a busy yard with plenty of noise and activity and takes it all in her stride. Cally has attended multiple arena hires and has XC schooled on the Somerford 80-acre field, where she behaved impeccably. She shows a natural ability over a fence and has lovely, flashy, athletic movement, making her suitable for a variety of disciplines. As expected for her age, Cally can test a new rider, so she is not suitable for a novice rider. She requires a confident, consistent, capable rider who is happy to ride positively and set clear boundaries. Once established she settles and works nicely. Good to clip, good with the farrier, and fully up to date with dentist and vaccinations.
