Description: ❤️ Special Companion Home Wanted ❤️ 10-year-old | 14hh Welsh Section D | Chestnut with flaxen mane & tail A lovely 10-year-old, 14hh Welsh Section D gelding is looking for a special, loving companion home where he can enjoy a quieter life and be cared for as he deserves. He has previously undergone surgery to repair a meniscal injury in the stifle. Following surgery, he has also had steroid injections, but unfortunately these have not made a significant improvement to his soundness. He is currently approximately 2/10 lame, but importantly, he is comfortable and shows no signs of being in pain. He is not currently on any pain relief and is very happy living his life as a companion. He is an easy-going boy who happily lives alongside mares, geldings, sheep, chickens and ducks and is completely unfazed by other animals. Due to his history and ongoing soundness issues, he is currently looking for a companion home only. There is a possibility that, depending on how he progresses and with the right professional advice, he may potentially be suitable for some very light hacking in the future, but this cannot be guaranteed and he is not being offered as a ridden prospect. The priority is finding him a home where he can simply be loved, cared for and allowed to enjoy life without being asked to do more than his body allows. He is a beautiful chestnut with a lovely flaxen mane and tail and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a horse to love rather than ride. 🏡 Companion home only at present.
