Description: This is the most special family horse. I have owned her since 5 years and she has always been my "golden nugget". She was bought to be our "family cob" alongside my other horse. She has taught my husband to ride, she takes out the non-riders, she gets ridden by novices and myself and we all enjoy her. She absolutely loves to jump - very bold to any fence. But she has not had a continuous education as she has been mostly hacked and lightly schooled. But she has been XC, arena eventing courses, SJ lessons, fun rides, hunting (very much on her toes) - everything. One can ride her bareback with a rope around the neck. My young children can ride and handle her. She has a very large fun club and is a true character. All that being said and true, she does throw a buck into canter sometimes (she has always done that, it has become a bit of a routine - I am a vet and she has saddler and all other checks regularly, so it's just "her thing", not related to discomfort) and can be strong out hacking when she has to go in front. She also needs a lot of correct riding support to be schooled (but then she's a delight!), otherwise she will happily just plod along. So there will have to be one person on the family who is very knowledgeable to keep her "up and running". She is an absolute delight to have - easy with everything (farrier, dentist, vet, loading... all of that), will be the brave one going passed everything, no matter if she's alone or in company. She has been living out with me most of the time but is very happy being stabled. She will stay alone the field when the horses are out. This is not easy at all, but we sadly have to make drastic changes and selling her is one of them. She will only go into a knowledgeable home, where horses have been part of the family before, who understand cobs and are looking for either a happy hacker or an allrounder that would need brushing up a bit. Every home will thoroughly vetted. I have thousands of videos and photos, but I will only give further details after seeing some videos of riding ability and telling me about your background to avoid time wasters. There will be sales contract in place. No dealers.
