- Description
- Sadly the time has come for us to look for Toby’s next home as he is now outgrown.
11 year old 14.1 coloured cob.
Toby was our daughter’s 2nd pony, and has taken her from jumping 50/60cm 3 years ago to competing in the PC80 Burghly ODE at the weekend.
He has been to 3 pony club camps - the 1st only a few weeks after we got him, & awarded most improved pony the 2nd year, finishing second on competition day.
He is a genuine all rounder - loves show jumping, cross country and will hack out for hours.
He has jumped in the NSEA finals at Hickstead, and the pony club champs twice.
He is more turbo cob than kick along when competing, but safe to hack out alone or in company. Good in traffic - used to tractors etc. has had complete novices riding him on the roads.
He can forget his manners at times, however he has been handled by our daughter since she was 11, with occasional use of a control head collar. Good to box, shoe and no vices, however we have always sedated him to clip.
