Description
- Waterville Enrique; Calvaro Z & Cavalier Royale bloodlines - Expressive paces, established flying changes & scopey jump - Has hunted and gained previous eventing experience A striking young Warmblood with presence, expressive paces and an affectionate personality. Lovely to ride, he has established flying changes and a scopey, careful jump. With correct foundations, he would be an exciting prospect for someone looking to progress into British Show jumping or British Eventing, while his expressive movement gives him the potential to make a lovely dressage horse too. By Waterville Enrique out of Molly, his pedigree includes Calvaro Z, King of Diamonds and Cavalier Royale. He has spent three months at a professional show jumping yard and has hunted and gained eventing experience in his previous home. He has continued to grow and mature during a summer of light work. His next step is to build muscle, topline and strength through consistent schooling. Our plan was to spend the winter developing him further before competing in February/March 2027 in dressage and show jumping. Sadly, my daughters illness and the pain she experiences means she is unable to ride at present and so can no longer give him the consistent riding needed to pursue their ambitions. This is a heart breaking sale of a much-loved horse we had hoped would be with us for years to come. Affectionate and full of character, Muffin is easy to catch, he would much rather come over for a cuddle. He loads and travels well and is good for the farrier. He hacks alone but is happier in company; we have done limited hacking with him ourselves. He would suit a confident, experienced rider looking for a quality young horse to develop, enjoy and compete. Currently barefoot, he has previously worn front shoes and may need these again as his workload increases. No illness or lameness during our ownership. Muffin will only be sold to the right home, where he will be loved and given the time and training to fulfil his potential. He means a great deal to us, and we would love to keep in touch with his new owners and follow his progress.
