Description: Millie (Golden Delight) looking for a new Home. Very is a very striking and substantial Irish Draught cross mare rising 9 yrs 17hh. She has extravagant, powerful paces and a lovely forward thinking attitude at all times. Huge potential in dressage, she has been bought on slowly and only just maturing into her big frame so is still green but very willing and shows ability to both extend and collect. With continued education she will be very special. Still green to jump but with her fabulous canter and power there is definitely potential there too. This talent is coupled with the most amazing temperament; she will hack happily alone or in company and phased by any traffic, is polite and snaffle mouth in open spaces and is generally very easy to deal with in all ways. Good to catch, box, shoe, clip, happily lives in or out and a very friendly non marish mare. She totally suits an ambitious amateur who would like to compete successfully British dressage and go up the grades whilst also having fun hacking, jumping fun rides and hunting (untried in this at present). She really is worth her (substantial!) weight in gold and will be someone's horse of a lifetime and is only very sadly available due to owners ongoing back injury. Passed a 5 stage vetting last April but fully open to viewings and vetting. She does have a small sarcoid on her inner thigh which have not changed in a year and a heart murmur which has been fully investigated by a cardiologist and deemed of no cause for concern (report available). This is reflected in price so is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a quality safe horse on a budget. No complete novices or very nervous riders as she is too good for that.
