I have owned George since he was a yearling, so his full history is known. He has been carefully and slowly backed and produced by myself, and he has been an absolute pleasure every step of the way. George is a quality Welsh Section D with three incredibly uphill, flashy paces and a real presence about him. He works beautifully on the flat and has a natural ability to carry himself in a way that catches the eye. We have challenged ourselves across all disciplines together, and he has always been willing to give everything a go. He is bold and brave to a show jump and equally enjoys his cross country. He has a fantastic attitude when faced with new challenges and loves having a job to do. With his impressive movement and natural presence, George is a real head-turner in the show ring, and I truly believe this is where he has the potential to excel. George is not a novice ride, so an experienced home is essential. This is not because he is naughty in any way, but because he is a sensitive, forward-thinking horse who thrives with a confident and sympathetic rider who understands him. He is good to handle and is happy to be caught, bathed, clipped, shod (tolerates shoeing), and is well behaved for the vet and dentist. This is an incredibly sad sale of a much-loved horse.
