Description: 💖 Mardenway Private Dancer 💖 Dancer is a stunning 12hh Welsh Section A liver chestnut mare out of Wernderris Caramel. She has been part of our family since she was three years old with her full history known. Now hopelessly outgrown (we have held on as long as we could)! Dancer is looking for a family to love her as much as we do. Dancer has been slowly produced and consistently successful in the show ring, at county level. Dancer has enjoyed a fantastic 2024/2025 season, winning multiple championships and reserves, including qualifying for Stars in first ridden and M&M small breeds. A highlight of the season was winning the local equitation class at Royal Cheshire Show — her biggest outing yet, where she handled the atmosphere brilliantly. In the school, Dancer works consistently in three balanced paces. She has a lovely soft mouth; so would suit a rider with quiet hands and a balanced seat. Whilst she has performed everything we have asked of her and more; she is still young and can have the occasional spook. She spent around 18 months on the lead rein with my daughter and behaved well, I really feel she is suited to first ridden which my daughter is sadly too old for now. Dancer has been an active Pony Club member for the last 4 years — attending mini camp and big camp (Somerford) with great success. She has represented her branch in Area 4 dressage teams with impressive results. She jumps confidently up to 60cm with scope to go higher, although my daughter has focused mainly on flatwork and showing. Dancer has attended countless clinics, farm rides, and beach trips. She behaves well in busy environments; but prefers hacking in company or with someone on foot. She’s improved greatly and is currently doing desensitisation clinics. She’s barefoot, never sick or sorry, lives on fresh air. Turns out happily with mares or geldings, loads and travels well, excellent to clip, with the vet, and for the farrier. Up to date with teeth, physio, and vaccinations. Dancer comes with her full wardrobe, including a made-to-measure saddle and bridle. She can occasionally have an opinion about things (typical Welsh) but once she has a bond with you she is willing and aims to please. This is an incredibly sad sale after five wonderful years — only available due to being outgrown. We have countless photos and videos from throughout her time with us. £7995 or very near offer.
