- Description
- Lovely mare, well-bred, well-produced, and with a genuinely kind loving personality. If you're looking for a second pony that is nicely forward and has real competitive potential, she's worth a look.
We bought Bonnie three years ago for our boys (aged from 9 years), and she's been a firm favourite with them all — fun, competitive, and completely adored by everyone who meets her. Sadly, our boys have moved into polo, and Bonnie deserves a rider who'll make the most of her.
• Full Pony Club CV: PC camps, rallies, NSEA, hunting and beach rides
• Jumps confidently up to 70–80cm with a forward, scopey jump but will also step down and jump happily at the lower heights. Good potential for British Showjumping with scope to go on.
• XC schooled, jumps ditches and loves water.
• Professionally schooled on the flat for the past 3 months
• Has seen hounds and would likely make a good hunt pony
• Well-bred from a showing lineage — the type and movement for show or working hunter classes
Easy to manage day to day. Happy in or out, good with mares and geldings, hacks alone or in company. She lunges, jumps on the lead rein, and is straightforward to lead from another horse. Loads well in lorries or trailers. Calm when at shows and easy to handle. Never been sick or lame in our three years of ownership.
Worth mentioning: she's ticklish over her flank and has needed sedation to clip but every year is getting easier. She's not mareish at all. A firm favourite in the yard by humans and horses alike!
She comes with tack and rugs, is fit and ready to go, up to date vaccinations and teeth, and we're hoping to find a 5*active home that'll give her the time and attention she deserves.
Excellent trial facilities at home with us on Surrey/Sussex/Hampshire border.
