- Description
- was bought in autumn of last year advertised as being suitable as a mother and daughter share. Unfortunately, she is proving just too much horse for my daughter who has scoliosis making it harder for her to maintain her upper body strength. Lady is a very clever girl and will need a competent rider to keep her from testing the boundaries.
She is very good to catch, farrier, groom, bath, load and handle. She loves seeing the osteopath/physio and turns out alone or in a herd. I haven’t clipped her as she doesn’t get much of a winter coat.
Her previous owner reported her to be a capable jumper but this is not something we do so couldn’t comment with any definitive details.
She hacks beautifully in any traffic and around the farm and is showing real promise in the school at home and away from home at competitions and training. She moves beautifully and has attended ICC dressage qualifiers with my daughter scoring 82% on her first outing.
She currently lives on a busy livery/cattle farm and is not phased by the hustle and bustle.
Until recently, she was having 2 professional training sessions a week with additional from us as well as hacking.
This is not the outcome I had hoped for but I too am due to have major surgery and cannot offer her what she needs and she’s far too good to be wasted.
This sound, healthy and vibrant young horse will make a perfect summer project who is sure to excel in the right hands.
Price advertised is far less than I paid but I’m hoping for a good home in a reasonable time frame.
Will come with bridle and rugs, happy to send her with the saddle she came with, this doesn’t fit her well but can be part exchanged for a more suitable alternative.
Please no dreamers or joy riders and only contact with serious enquiries.
