Description: Carraigstud Lizzy- Mabel 8yr 16.1hh 3/4 ID Grey mare with the late Ben Puple, Grange Bouncer & Clover Hill all in her breeding. Mabel is a very loving and kind mare. A true all rounder with potential to compete in, do well and enjoy all disciplines. Bought as a 4yr old from Ireland, she enjoyed getting out and about to arena hires, clinics, the beach & pleasure rides for the first year or so. She’s had a quieter life since then due to a young family coming along and unfortunately this is the reason for her sad sale. As much as Mabel is low mileage she is very straightforward, absolutely loves to jump and is ready to get back out enjoying new adventures and competing with her new rider. She is currently in full work and raring to go. Mabel is straightforward on the flat, forward going but safe and very willing to learn and train. She’s recently been out to unaffiliated dressage, gaining good marks and behaving impeccably. Mabel really enjoys her jumping! She is very straight & genuine, bold yet careful when jumping. She’s recently been to an arena hire and jumped an array of fillers confidently. She’s also been xc schooling within the last few months where she has proved to be brave and confident. Happy with ditch’s, water etc. She really is good fun 😁 Mabel really enjoys her hacking and is very good in open spaces. She is more confident out in company but will hack quite happily on her own with a confident rider on board. She is good in traffic but hasn’t been tested in heavy traffic and hasn’t seen many big vehicles as she’s mainly been hacked off road but again with a confident rider I’m sure she would be happy. Mabel would probably load herself, either into a lorry or trailer, she loves to get out and about and is always extremely well behaved when in new places. We want Mabel to go to a kind, loving, active and fun home to be treated as well as she deserves. Mabel has been treated for gastric ulcers in the past which is something her new family will be fully informed of. She is currently very happy and has no health/medical issues.
