Description: Attention all riding schools! 16.2hh 6yr old chunky TB Gelding. Tex is an absolute saint to do everything with, he’s a wise old man in a young man’s body most definitely not in a rush to go anywhere. Tex looks after my partner who bumbles around on him every now and again for hacks and in the fields so absolutely perfect for a novice/riding schools. Tex hacks out alone and in company, doesn’t look at a thing when he’s out, great in traffic he’s seen heavy machinery/lorries/motorbikes etc. He’s the type you can leave for days/weeks jump back on and he’s just the same when you left him. I have cantered him in big open fields also with his field mate cantering along side loose, he is never strong or silly. I can take his field mate away for a ride and he’s more than happy being left to it on his own. He would be an absolute perfect first horse, fantastic confidence booster. I am mainly showcasing him as a happy hacker/mother/daughter share, he will pop around in the school but he’s at his happiest out hacking and going on adventures. No vices, good to shoe/bath/clip/load. I have him around heavy machinery, tractors never batters an eyelid. He will be having some outings with the farmers blood hounds very soon taking a male jockey out for his first time out hunting. I cannot express how safe and sensible this lad is, he’s an absolute joy to have around unfortunately just too steady to be a personal horse for me & I just don’t have the time come the prime of winter to keep him ticking over properly for my partners enjoyment.
