Description: Tink is a lovely, experienced cob mare looking for a quieter, happy home as a light hack or companion. She is safe, sensible, and people-oriented, with many years of varied life experience behind her. I’ve owned Tink for the past two years, and she has been a very kind and reliable horse. She is fully sound and enjoys gentle hacking, where she is relaxed, confident, and near bombproof. I’ve always felt completely safe riding her out alone or in company. Tink has previously taken part in non-affiliated dressage, consistently scoring over 68%, and she has safely carried a novice rider, always looking after her rider. She’s intelligent, willing, and happy to try new things when approached kindly. I’ve even ridden her bareback on occasion, which she took in her stride. She strongly prefers hacking to arena work and isn’t suited to regular schooling. In the school she can occasionally nap or offer a small buck (nothing nasty), but she is far happier and more settled out hacking or enjoying a quieter routine. Her happiest life would be as a light hack, companion, or in a home that appreciates her experience and personality. Tink has mild CPL, which is easy to manage and has never affected her comfort, soundness, or ability to be ridden lightly. She is excellent to load, calm with routines, adaptable, and enjoys turnout with other horses. What Tink loves: • Turnout with companions • Gentle hacking on quiet roads or tracks • In-hand walks and light groundwork • A calm, consistent routine Ideal home: Tink would suit a patient, experienced owner who understands confident, mature horses and can offer her a quieter life with light hacking and plenty of turnout. She would also be very happy as a companion horse. Requirements: • Safe, secure turnout (24/7 ideal, or out by day and in at night) • Regular, attentive care • A kind, understanding home that appreciates her limitations as well as her many positives Open to fair movement on price for the right home, as finding the best match for Tink is far more important than a quick sale. We are in no rush, and a 5★ home is essential. She can come with a full wardrobe of rugs. Only for sale as I’m looking to step my riding up a level and start competing.
