Description: Teddy is an approx. 15.3/16hh 7yo (2018) Irish Draught gelding. He is the ultimate hunter with a superb attitude to give anything a go! He was used as a hireling in Ireland and hunted with the Galway Blazers, North Galway Foxhounds and Grallagh Harriers. Since being imported around December time he has hunted with the South Devon and Dartmoor. He’s happy to stand, go first or last and pop anything you come across all whilst looking after his rider. Along with hunting he’s also been on beach rides, done some dressage and been XC and SJ schooling - he’s even dabbled in some side saddle showing picking up a first place. He’s safe and sensible in open spaces, loved splashing through the sea and going off exploring the moors. Although Teddy has done a bit of everything outside of hunting he is still a bit green but with a bit of work he would also make a super fun grassroots eventer during the summer months. He hacks alone and in company, will go first or last and has been good with all traffic we have met with him. Everything he has done with us to date he has been snaffle mouth. He has no lumps/bumps or vices. He is good to load, travel, catch, clip, shoe. We think he would really excel in a hunting home but think he would also suit a rising club/all rounder type home. He’s a really fun horse that has quickly become a yard favourite. Plenty more videos and pictures available. The owner is asking £22,000 for him and looking for someone to enjoy this fun horse.
