Description: Gus is an ex race horse, (in the sulky) he raced previously but proved too slow on the track. He is a standardbred (not irish sports horse as in headings - it didn't have a standardbred option.) He is a great hack, hacking alone and company with no problems. He will trot and canter and will go first, last or in the middle. Whilst being with us he has been ridden as lead horse for the riding school and hacked by the teenagers on the yard. He has been in the arena and over poles without any problems. He is ridden everywhere in a snaffle. Gus is a really comfortable, sensible ride and will make a great endurance, hacking or pleasure /family horse. Has great manners and a pleasure to work with. He is a yard favourite. Good to shoe, load, catch etc
